Linda Ballantine Brown has been ranching and painting
Florida ranch
life for over 25 years. Her love for ranching cows and
horses is the
main focus of her paintings and other mediums. Her goal is
to heighten
the awareness of the viewer into the intimate life and
daily
interactions of her subjects.
Linda has participated in many public art projects such
as "Horse
Fever" painting "Sky Dancing" and "Morning Colors". Her
art was chosen
to go on the new Ocala library exterior mural. The Ocala
Symphony
Orchestra is exhibiting one of her designs in the "Flight
of the
Fiddles". Linda is a charter member of the Cowboy Art
Association of
Florida (C.A.A.F.). She has won many outstanding awards
and her
paintings are exhibited in many fine homes and galleries.
She is also
known for her ceramic sinks and tiles. Ballantine Studio
markets
Linda's work in various products including fabric and
ceramic tiles.
